Usually only need to add 2-5 drops to each color to start creating some cells. However, the right recipe for adding silicone oil into the acrylic pouring mix will largely come down to experimentation.

Finding the perfect recipe will take some time and experimentation, but here is a good starting point:

  • 1 part acrylic paint
  • 5 parts of pouring medium
  • 2-5drops of silicone oil in the colors where want the cells to appear

(Tip: If want larger cells in acrylic pour painting, don’t stir over the paint once you’ve added the silicone oil as this will split into smaller cells.)

 

Attention

  • Keep out of the reach of children.
  • Do not ingest or use on one’s person.
  • If silicone oilcomes into contact with skin or eyes wash immediately. Always wash hands after use.
  • Seek medical attention if ingested or if irritation results from use.
  • No contacting with strong acid and alkali substances. Store at room temperature in a cool and ventilated place.
